More news about the topic

Efus launches the European Forum for Urban Security's podcast channel dedicated to urban security issues.

Together with representatives from the member cities and regions, as well as experts and practitioners, they explore a wide range of urban security issues in our first season of 10 episodes.

Topics include the security of large events, the local impact of organised crime, the prevention of radicalisation leading to violent extremism, and more.

The First Episode: Learning from the past: 30 years of crime prevention and urban security gives the floor to Adam Crawford, Co-Director of the Vulnerability and Policing Futures Research Centre at the University of York and the University of Leeds (UK) and André Vervooren, former Director of the Safety Department of the City of Rotterdam (Netherlands).

Moderated by Elizabeth Johnston, Executive Director of Efus.
