Abstract:
Stand of IcARUS project (Innovative Approaches to Urban Security). Project coordinated by the European forum for urban security. A consortium of 17 European partners.
The IcARUS main objective is to rethink the approach to urban security, embracing multi-stakeholder cooperation and the co-production of solutions. These have become integral pillars of the strategic approach to urban security. The IcARUS project has the ambition to provide a comprehensive understanding of urban security challenges and policies.
The IcARUS project has develop tools for six cities and their local practitioners across Europe using two design the social innovation approach. The six cities have been supported by IcARUS partners to define, prototype and develop a tool tailored to their specific needs.
All cities have developed and validated the Tool concept with their „Community of Users“.
