Communities That Care – A Community Prevention Strategy
Frederik Tetzlaff (Foundation German Forum for Crime Prevention, DFK) & Sven Kruppik (DPT – German Prevention Congress)
As a framework prevention strategy, Communities That Care – CTC is suitable for better coordinating prevention efforts in the municipal context on the basis of acute needs with local actors. CTC is resource-saving and locally coloured. Problematic behaviours of children and adolescents are defined locally and worked through with local prevention actors using the concept of risk and protective factors from prevention research. The lecture outlines the framework strategy CTC and also presents the current cooperation measure “CTC-Landesmultiplikator:innenschulung” with the Foundation German Forum for Crime Prevention – DFK.
The registration gives you access to the online DPT-TV from April till November this year.
