Das umfangreiche Kongressprogramm der ursprünglich im Kasseler Kongress Palais geplanten Präsenzveranstaltung wird in vier unterschiedlichen Formaten dargeboten.

Pilar De La Torre Programme Manger EFUS.
Pilar De La Torre follows, among others, the topics: discriminatory violence, security of Senior citizens, innovation and security. She is also in charge of Efus’ training programme and Efus’ relationship with countries outside Europe.
Pilar De La Torre holds a master’s degree in Population and Development Expertise from Paris Descartes University and a degree in Economics from the Externado University of Bogotá (Colombia).
Pilar has worked during 2 years in Colombia at the National Institute For Research and Prevention of Fraud (INIF).
Siria Gastelum is an Emmy Award winning journalist from Mexico. Siria started writing stories on organized crime in her own native state of Sinaloa when she was still a child. She directed a documentary on Jesus Maverde, the so-called patron saint of drug traffickers. She has worked on radio, television and print media in Mexico, the United States and Canada.
In 2008, she joined the United Nations Office in Vienna. She has worked at the International Narcotics Control Board and more recently at the United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking (UN.GIFT). In 2001 she received the UN 21 Award from the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon for the creation of the UN.GIFT.HUB, an online knowledge exchange platform on human trafficking. Since May 2019, Siria is the Director of the Resilience Fund, a grant-making mechanism founded by the Global Initiative, building on its previous experience supporting community resilience against organized crime. The Resilience Fund identifies, incubates and replicates local initiatives from civil society in their fight against criminal governance and violence. The Fund is now present in 15 countries, supporting 23 projects in a variety of community-based responses. Siria has a BA in Communications Science from the University of the Americas-Puebla (Mexico) and a Masters of Journalism from Carleton University (Canada). She now spends her time between Mexico, Canada and India.
Berit Kieselbach works as Technical Officer on the Prevention of Violence team in the WHO Department for Social Determinants of Health (SDH). She manages the development of normative guidelines and provides technical support to countries on the prevention and health sector response of violence against children. She runs the Secretariat of the Violence Prevention Alliance (VPA) and leads a project to develop the evidence on what works to prevent violence against children online. Berit has an academic background in Psychology (MSc) and Public Health (MPH). Before joining WHO, she worked as health advisor for German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and various humanitarian agencies, supporting cooperation programmes in Asia, Africa and Latin America with a focus on health systems development, mental health and violence prevention.
Kathrin Lorenz is Director of the Division Governance & Conflict at the GIZ in Eschborn. She has extensive experience international development cooperation including short- and long-term assignments to Asia, Latin America and the MENA region. Prior joining the Governance and Conflict Division, Kathrin worked in Palestine with leadership positions for the GIZ Country Office and the Governance Portfolio of GIZ. Her fields of expertise are peacebuilding, fragility and governance. During her career, Kathrin also worked for the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Berlin and as a free-lance consultant with a focus on advisory support to programmes in conflict and crisis. Kathrin holds a PhD from the University of Potsdam in International Relations.
