Speziell für das Arbeitsgebiet der Kriminalprävention und angrenzender Präventionsbereiche veröffentlicht der Deutsche Präventionstag seit Juli 2011 täglich eine aktuelle News auf dieser Internetseite sowie via E-Mail und auf weiteren Informationskanälen. Die tägliche Präventions-News informiert über Präventionsveranstaltungen sowie über Dokumente aus den Bereichen Präventionspraxis, Präventionsforschung und Präventionspolitik.
Seit Dezember 2017 bietet der Deutsche Präventionstag nun einen zusätzlichen internationalen Informationsdienst in ausschließlich englischer Sprache an. Auch die DAILY PREVENTION NEWS werden auf der Webseite des DPT sowie weiteren Informationskanälen veröffentlicht und können in einem kostenlosen E-Mail-Versandservice im täglichen, wöchentlichen oder monatlichen Rythmus abonniert werden.
